I was playing around on YouTube tonight, and did I ever find what sums up what we are here to do as teachers in todays society....
This relates directly to my last few blogs, and I plan to make sure all my staff sees this video.
Maybe if all teachers can see the relevance, then they will not be so reluctant to be part of it...

The video says many of the same things that your video says. Both are a fascinating watch. I would like to see more solutions as to how to use the technology.
I saw that one! Another great video. Too many times you can see videos like this, trying to encourage the use of technology but I agree that it would be nice to have some actual concrete ideas and solutions for doing so.
ReplyDeleteI watched the YouTube video about Using Technology. I have a problem with using cell phones as a method of teaching.
ReplyDeleteAlthough we can learn a lot of the 'basics' by using technology, I think there is something to learning how to drive a 'stick shift' before you drive an automatic. If you can drive a standard you should be able to drive an automatic but not necessarily the other way around.
